Distance Education/Concurrent Enrollment college courses are more rigorous than regular high school courses. Class lectures and exams are not altered for high school vacation days, athletic events or any other extra-curricular activities. The student is responsible for contacting the college professor before the event to correlate any missed material. Assignments must be turned in correctly and on time for credit.

Keep a copy (paper and/or electronic) of all assignments that are submitted, as well as anything that is returned from the professor until after your final grade is posted. Check grades weekly for assignments and tests on Blackboard Vista to make sure they are posted correctly. The student is responsible to contact the college professor if there are grades missing or if assignments/exams are scored incorrectly.
