Student Q & A
Q: What do I do during my local high school Spring Break?
A: You are still required to attend your classes. If your site is closed, you will need to find a site that is taking the same classes and that is open during your break. Also, you are always welcome to come to UVU campus and attend here.
Textbook Buyback
Book Buyback lets students sell their books at the end of the semester for
a partial refund. To successfully send your books to the bookstore for buyback,
please follow these guidelines:
- Books must arrive during Book Buyback week (finals week) in order to be accepted. Check the Book Buyback schedule for the exact dates at www.uvsc.edu/bookstore/textbook/buyback.html. Books can arrive a few days early, but books that arrive late will not be considered for buyback.
- Only students that live outside of Utah and Salt Lake Counties can send their books by mail for buyback.
- You are responsible for paying all shipping costs. Your package must be addressed as follows:
Utah Valley University
Attn: General Manager – MS-116
800 W University Pkwy
Orem, UT 84058
- You must enclose your name and full mailing address to receive
a check. You also need to include written instructions as to whether
the bookstore should discard your books of no value or send them
back to you at your cost.
- Check the Textbook Return Policy and Important Information at:
www.uvsc.edu/bookstore/textbook/
for reasons why a book may have no value.
